Today EASTD had our DMM, i spoke to my guys about the spiritual atmosphere in our group. We really need to increase this element in our group here. Some points i really want to re-reiterate. To start off the spiritual atmosphere in our group, it has to start in each of our hearts and lives first. We can't be spiritual restless and ignorant. i.e, spiritual bochapness. You get what i mean.
When was the last time that you really took time to fight off all the distraction in your life and take that time out to seek God and worship. NOT come to him like a "cai shen ye", or a prayer box leh. But really to take time to wait upon him and seek his face, not his hands. Enjoying God in the comfort of your house and not just the service, or CG. If at home day in and out you can do this, surly your life will not be the same as you allow God to be part of it.
Yesterday, i have a hard night. I wanted to do just that, pray and seek him. What i wanted is that 10 mins with him. But in the end i took 30 over mins. 20 plus mins trying to focus and concentrate and wrestling with my distractions and monkeys filled mind. Trying to cage all of them up and make them sit still. Woo... Finally after i get to really worship and talk to him, that 10 mins was splendid, totally awesome. When was the last time you did this in the comfort of your house. Spiritual senses people. ahhh a short poem:
Spiderman has spider senses.
Woman have woman senses.
But the spiritual awaken man,
have spiritual senses.
ok. Lame.
see my monkey is moving inside me again.
So we came out with a game plan to increase our spiritual hunger and senses in our life. Brothers this is tough, but tough training brings out the best in man.

Something i've learnt
-there is no shortcut to increase in love, the only way to increase in love is bit by bit every single time we meet God.
Something i want to apply
-have regular daily devotions with God
one thing that impacted me alot is about loving your neighbour, not ONLY yor friends. God wants us to love our neighbour, which refers to everyone around us. so one thing ive leanrt and can apply is to love people around me, including people im not very close with.
